Privacy Policy

What this policy covers

This policy applies to dazztech.net and dazztech.lk and to every interaction on them: browsing the site, chatting with the Dazz AI Booking Assistant, submitting the quick-start email signup, and submitting the AI Systems Audit booking form. It does not cover work we do for clients after an engagement begins — that's governed by your individual project agreement.

Information we collect

• Conversation text — anything you type into the AI Booking Assistant, so it can understand your request and reply.
• Contact and project details — if you submit the audit booking form: business name, your name, email and/or phone number, business type, current tools, the workflow you describe, desired outcome, readiness, timeline, and preferred contact method.
• Email address — if you use the quick-start signup pop-up, just your email address.
• Automatic usage data — via Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not assign you a visitor ID; see "Cookies & analytics" below.

We don't ask for passwords, payment details, or government ID anywhere on this site.

How we use your information

• To generate replies from the AI Booking Assistant (sent to Anthropic).
• To deliver your inquiry to the founder by email (sent via Resend) so a real person can follow up — usually within one business day.
• To reply to you directly, if you've shared an email address or phone number.
• To understand overall traffic patterns via Vercel Web Analytics — no individual profiling.

We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who else sees your data — third-party processors

• Anthropic (maker of Claude) — conversation text you send to the AI Booking Assistant is transmitted to Anthropic's API to generate a reply. Anthropic processes this under its own API terms and, by default, does not use API conversation data to train its models.
• Resend — when you submit the booking form or quick-start signup, those details are sent through Resend, an email-delivery service, to our inbox.
• Vercel — hosts this site and provides cookieless Web Analytics and Speed Insights.

We choose processors that meet recognized security and privacy standards, but each operates under its own privacy policy and may process data outside Sri Lanka (including the United States). By using the AI Booking Assistant or submitting a form, you consent to that transfer for the purpose of receiving a reply.

What we don't do: no database

Dazz Tech's site has no production database. We don't store your chat transcript, form submission, or email address in a server-side database. Submissions arrive as an email in our inbox (via Resend) and are kept there like any other business email, subject to our normal email retention and deletion practices. If you'd like a copy of what we hold, or want it deleted, email us — see "Contact" below — and we'll action your request within a reasonable time.

Cookies & analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics tool that doesn't set tracking cookies or assign you a persistent identifier — it reports aggregate page-view counts only. We are not currently running Google Analytics or any advertising or retargeting pixels. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

Your rights

Depending on where you're based, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing — for example under Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act or the EU/UK GDPR. Because we don't operate a database, most requests are simple: email dasun@dazztech.net and we'll confirm what — if anything — we're holding and act on your request.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for business owners and operators, not children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Our intake endpoints validate and rate-limit submissions to reduce spam and abuse, and API keys for Anthropic and Resend are kept in server-side environment variables that are never exposed to the browser.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or our tools change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
